You've done a great job in consolidating your thoughts and the commentary and practical tips associated with each of your rules are very helpful. I suppose that there could be many more "rules" but then they are impossible to remember. One other "rule" that is significant in my personal experience is "BE CAREFUL WITH CRITICISM". It is easy to be critical of your spouse but it can undermine a relationship and self-confidence in your partner. Sometimes if you criticise it can make you feel better but such criticism often has a long-term destructive impact.
