A large city council I worked for insisted workers take one year, the Myers-Briggs type indicator and then the next year the Enneagram in workshop sessions, results to be reported back to human resources. Participants were not happy as the results could be used to thwart promotions, etc. This could have been a positive experience indicating that it takes all types to make a team.
The trouble with these assessments is that they need to be voluntary. On principle, I only work with people who really want to. All else, in my experience, is not sustainable.
