I really don't know whether to laugh or cry. Germany is governed by absolute buffoons who obviously have only one goal in mind: to sell their people for fools to be able to drive the country into total ruin.
New definitions for the criteria of a pandemic have been foisted on us, the definition of vaccinations has been changed and now the criteria for insolvency are being changed by none other than the Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economics of Germany. Hardly anyone seems to be interested that Mr. Habeck has revealed himself to be absolutely incompetent (like most of his colleagues actually) and has exposed himself to absolute ridicule two days ago.
Yesterday I went tango dancing for the first time in a long time since I bruised/broke my coccyx three weeks ago. I was very surprised that the location, which is otherwise well lit (it's public), was relatively gloomy. I was then told that half of the lights were switched off, as we now have to save energy. Next time we might have to bring our own torches or candles.
But that was not enough. Since Mr. Habeck would like to order how and when business owners leave the doors of their shops open or keep them closed (see SPECIAL ISSUE # 28), I also learned in a conversation that the business owners are allowed to heat their shops to a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius (everyone is supposed to be freezing this winter). The paternalism is taking on new dimensions and the shopkeepers are being harassed with nonsensical conditions. They should know what they do, what they can afford, and at what room temperature they work and welcome their customers. Little by little, the citizens are becoming more and more disenfranchised and are being trained to be good or even better obedient servants.
“Any dictator would admire the uniformity and obedience of the U.S. media.” — Noam Chomsky
I suppose this is true for pretty much all media today!

📚My Poem of the Day
Is by Paul Laurence Dunbar (1872-1906)
Disappointed
An old man planted and dug and tended, Toiling in joy from dew to dew; The sun was kind, and the rain befriended; Fine grew his orchard and fair to view. Then he said: “I will quiet my thrifty fears, For here is fruit for my failing years.” But even then the storm–clouds gathered, Swallowing up the azure sky; The sweeping winds into white foam lathered The placid breast of the bay, hard by; Then the spirits that raged in the darkened air Swept o’er his orchard and left it bare. The old man stood in the rain, uncaring, Viewing the place the storm had swept; And then with a cry from his soul despairing, He bowed him down to the earth and wept. But a voice cried aloud from the driving rain; “Arise, old man, and plant again!”
