THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT NOBODY'S HOME!
This is something I first heard from my sister and when I heard it I nearly wet myself laughing. Admittedly, I have been using this phrase more than ever in the past two years than ever before - for good reasons.
Yes, you may have heard it all before and I may even be repeating myself but I am still flabbergasted by the ignorance and worse, the indifference of still too many people.

When I read what the German Ministry of the Interior is planning and, above all, how it is being packaged and phrased, it sends shivers down my spine.
From the Action Plan against Right-Wing Extremism of the German Ministry of the Interior:
5. Debunking Conspiracy Ideologies - Preventing Radicalisation
Conspiracy ideologies, with their anti-democratic populism, can open the door to right-wing extremism. We want to counteract this danger through targeted education and counselling. The focus here is on conspiracy ideologies that are specifically directed against our free democratic basic order.
To this end, a central counselling service is to be created at the federal level (in cooperation with civil society organisations) for people who observe or suspect radicalisation in their personal environment due to a growing belief in conspiracies.
It should serve as a contact point for the social environment of those affected (relatives, teachers, sports clubs, circle of friends, etc.) and offer them support in their social dealings with those affected, so that they can ideally initiate a deradicalisation process.
The exit programme of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution should also be expanded to include the area of conspiracy ideologies. Here, help is to be given to those who want to break away from the environment of organised conspiracy supporters, such as the Corona deniers, and need support in doing so. For this purpose, those seeking help will be offered non-binding contact as well as qualified counselling, especially in the areas of help for re-entry into society and the detachment from extremist ideas.
In addition, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Home Affairs will commission a research project which will examine the radicalisation processes in the context of the Corona pandemic. On the basis of this, a concept for action for further preventive measures will be drawn up.
This is horrific and I am guessing it is only a matter of time until someone will knock on my door to deradicalise me. Must we expect deradicalisation camps? Essentially what they are doing is abolishing democracy to save democracy - lunacy I call it!
As always, Germany distinguishes itself as a radical pioneer. A very sad record!

The socalled "O to O rule" (October - Ostern/Easter) has so far been familiar mainly to car drivers with regard to the winter tyre regulation - this could change in the future. From autumn onwards, the obligation to wear a mouth-nose protection could be mandatory in all indoor spaces until Easter. This was reported to WELT AM SONNTAG.
Although our minister of Health Karl Lauterbach had announced the Corona Summer Wave (no, it is not a new water sport) and would like to recommend (or push for) mandatory masking for all indoor spaces.

I have the sad impression that most people are behaving like the three 🙈🙉🙊. They don’t see anything, they don’t hear anything so they don’t have to say anything! It is high time to wake up and resist!
