I know by now that I should not be surprised how a large part of the world population has been conditioned over the past years. But now and again there are these strange encounters that leave me speechless and shaking my head in disbelief.
Readers who have read my about or have been reading my letter for a while know that I live in Germany. Germany still seems to be a country with a population that produces many good followers of orders who, in their obedience to authority, are obviously very susceptible to any manipulative conditioning. I have written about the mask situation a few times and I thought it would get better with time but it seems to be quite the contrary with still too many people.
Unfortunately, I still seem to be an exception going into a supermarket or anywhere else without a mask not bothering to carry one with me. If anyone would insist (thankfully that has not happened to me since the mandate was lifted, except at Hamburg airport) I would simply leave and most certainly spend my money elsewhere.
Yet I still see so very many people walking the streets and even in beautiful nature, often alone, voluntarily wearing that disfiguring rag on their faces. Too many are so well conditioned that they do not dare show their faces to breathe fresh air.
I even see cyclists once in a while happily cycling wearing masks. For me, this is absolutely incomprehensible. Drivers sitting alone in their cars with nappies on their faces are unfortunately still quite a common sight. But when a friend told me she had seen a young woman with a mask in an open convertible, I couldn't take it anymore. I really thought she was pulling my leg, but apparently, it was true and she had no reason to tell me any nonsense.
If you enjoy reading my Change & Evolve Letter, I would be delighted if you share it with your friends!
But what crowned it all was what I experienced at my gym. There are still some members walking around with masks and even training with them - which cannot be healthy. But when I went up the stairs with a friend - both of us unmasked, of course, the woman who came towards us in her very fashionable black rag covering the better part of her face, she backed away from us (almost jumping) as if we had leprosy or worse. She was sincerely afraid of us, which I found mind-boggling. I saw her eying me quite a bit and she avoided coming too close - I had showered and can assure you I was not smelling bad, so that was not the reason…
I just can't get my head around how people voluntarily restrict their lives and themselves allowing them to be conditioned in this way. So many are not living but merely surviving.
And then a friend sent me the following video which explains so much better than I ever could what is happening in our society.
We need to learn to jump as high as possible again and to liberate ourselves, even if we do get some bumps and bruises now and again - it is worth it!
There is one more absurdity that I must share with you that I had almost forgotten. I think it must be one of the worst things I've heard recently. Apparently, there are support groups for the relatives of unvaccinated people! Yes, you read correctly, and trust me, I could not believe it either - I can literally see you either falling off your chair laughing or shaking your head in disbelief. The only way to bear things like this is with an incredibly good sense of humor!

📚My Poem of the Day
Is by Edward Thomas (1878-1917)
Liberty
The last light has gone out of the world, except
This moonlight lying on the grass like frost
Beyond the brink of the tall elm’s shadow.
It is as if everything else had slept
Many an age, unforgotten and lost
The men that were, the things done, long ago,
All I have thought; and but the moon and I
Live yet and here stand idle over the grave
Where all is buried. Both have liberty
To dream what we could do if we were free
To do some thing we had desired long,
The moon and I. There’s none less free than who
Does nothing and has nothing else to do,
Being free only for what is not to his mind,
And nothing is to his mind. If every hour
Like this one passing that I have spent among
The wiser others when I have forgot
To wonder whether I was free or not,
Were piled before me, and not lost behind,
And I could take and carry them away
I should be rich; or if I had the power
To wipe out every one and not again
Regret, I should be rich to be so poor.
And yet I still am half in love with pain,
With what is imperfect, with both tears and mirth,
With things that have an end, with life and earth,
And this moon that leaves me dark within the door.
👀Impressions
I found this gem in the front yard of a house on my way to the lake and just had to share…
Wishing you a wonderful day and would truly love to hear from you!
Yours

The flea in the glass jar story is a great visual reminder of what limits us and I suppose is the heart of the "mass formation" that has been applied to us all. Loved the Eagle Rock Singers. I heard an interview with Dr Mattias Desmet of Ghent University in Belgium. Some doubt the mass formation theory but it makes sense to me. Here is a link with a summary - https://thomascasey.wordpress.com/2021/08/28/mass-formation-by-dr-mattias-desmet-professor-of-psychology-university-of-ghent/
Learned helplessness is certainly one aspect. However, a significant portion of the maskers derives a sense of meaning from it. Their mask wearing demonstrates to others that they stand, heroically perhaps, against this terrible disease. They are the good guys and the more people around them drop their masks the more entrenched their position will become.
