Someone (I am guessing several people) wisely said that we are desperately in need of new conspiracy theories as all the old ones have all come true - even the ones no one was perverted enough to even think about.
Of course, we have absolutely objective media coverage on all fronts. Media bias is just a right wing conspiracy theory (I do hope I donβt need my sarcasm sign).
One really perfect example is the fact that Kamala Harris took over Trump's policy, almost literally, that there will be no taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers. Trump brought it up in Las Vegas on 9 July and Harris on 10 August, also in Las Vegas. But what makes the whole thing so bizarre in this instant is the example on how CBS News reported on this.
Here, as usual, Trump is portrayed as the devil incarnate while Harris is described as the saviour of poor service and hospitality workers. MEDIA BIAS? Of course not, never!
It is also a conspiracy theory that Kamala Harris is being completely reinvented for race for the presidency. The motto appears to be: What do I care about yesterdayβs stupid blather?
The media was never objective and I personally believe that there is no such thing as objectivity. We are humans, all with our own personal experiences and beliefs and it simply is not possible to be completely objective. Who would define what that is anyway. The best we can do is inform ourselves as best we can. I also believe that during Covid it became blatantly clear that the media now has only one purpose, not to inform but to gaslight according to the leftist agenda. They are doing George Orwell so proud.
Anything that doesn't fit the picture is torn apart in the media, dragged before the courts, or simply banned.
A wonderful example of this from Germany was the banning of a magazine. The German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser has ensured - under the guise of a ban on associations - that the magazine Compact has been banned in Germany. However, it backfired as it brought a rather small and little-known magazine into the headlines and at first celebrated it as a huge success in the fight against the right-wing.
A court has now overturned the judgement, at least temporarily, as it was unconstitutional. Of course it has no consequences for Faeser, but the former almost unknown magazine is now certainly enjoying great popularity.
If the political competition or opposition becomes too strong or uncomfortable, it simply has to be eliminated, of course always in the name of βdemocracyβ. Accordingly, the current government is constantly working on plans to have the unwelcome rival party AFD banned. Especially in the eastern part of Germany they are becoming stronger and more popular by the day.
Similar methods were being used here as in the ridiculous court case against Donald Trump.
These are all signs that the leftists are panicking and are terrified of actual democracy and the voters. I am guessing this is the same phenomenon in most of the western world but keeping an eye on what is happening in the US at the moment with what will be the most crucial election of all time for this nation, it will be an indicator of what the world will have to expect in the years to come.
I would like to end todayβs letter with a brilliant quote that sums up what we are seeing everywhereβ¦.
βWe live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced, so that stupid people wonβt be offended.β β Elon Musk

πMy Poem for you
Is by William Butler Yeats (1865-1939)
The Mask
'Put off that mask of burning gold With emerald eyes. ' 'O no, my dear, you make so bold To find if hearts be wild and wise, And yet not cold. ' 'I would but find what's there to find, Love or deceit. ' 'It was the mask engaged your mind, And after set your heart to beat, Not what's behind. ' 'But lest you are my enemy, I must enquire. ' 'O no, my dear, let all that be; What matter, so there is but fire In you, in me?'

I have tried to avoid mainstream media, but I have found it impossible to hit zero and there is still plenty that gets through. I don't purposely watch the news at all on TV, though my missus does put the BBC on quite often and inevitably I will catch a bit - it usually riles me straight away so I am best off leaving the room quickly. In terms of written media I do subscribe to the Daily Telegraph which is perhaps the least worst of the mainstream lot, but I wonder if zero news is too much the other way? I know not to take stuff at face value now - I didn't need MSM to teach me that particular lesson - perhaps I just need to avoid the outlets who produce the stuff that I know will wind me up. I do like an easy life....
