Thanks for the post Tanja. The Eric Clapton song needs to be retitled “Goin’ Down Fast!” As I read your newsletter I wondered where is the silent majority who don’t believe the woke agenda. We seem to exhibit too many characteristics of the sheep that I looked after for many years. I was reading a biography of Reagan some years ago and I discovered that he moved from a big government man to a small government one because in touring GE factories and speaking to everyday people he realized that government wasn’t the solution but the problem.
Looking forward to hearing more about your journey to become a “feminist”! What a remarkable Byron poem you found this week.
Hopefully there are some signs of resistance in Germany. It would be great to have an overview of current German politics when you feel inspired. There must be a remnant even among the politicians or I may be just dreaming. If you haven’t seen the NZ film yet called Hunt for the Wilderpeople it will cheer you up.
Thank you so much, Reuben! You are unfortunately right, we are going down fast and yet I am still positive and optimistic - at least most of the time. What is happening in Germany - faster than in other counties I suppose - is devastating and observing German politics is like watching a train wreck where few will survive.
I will check it the film you recommended, thank you for that and your ongoing support.
