WHEN YOU CAN HAVE FEELINGS?
The whole world seems to be revolving around people’s feelings, or at least that’s what a minority is trying to forcefully push on a majority. Don’t get me wrong, feelings are most certainly important - I actually write about them quite a lot. But when feelings trump facts and actual science in society and politics, I am out! I believe absolutely everyone is entitled to their feelings - I just refuse to always share them.

Take the misguided transgender cult for example. What they are doing is a slap in the face to the few people who are actually affected, are transgender, and don't seek public attention to have their few minutes in the limelight.
I have some sympathy (not understanding but compassion) for these followers of that cult as I understand that they must have massive mental health problems and disorders that should be treated urgently to help them heal. However, as long as they are supported and even validated by the public, the media, and the government, they don’t stand a chance to escape their delusions. Also suppressed in public is how many already regret their decision, wanting to detransition and having to realise that this is impossible. More and more of these poor misguided people are realising what they have done to themselves, that they have allowed themselves to be mutilated, and that they will have to live with the consequences - mostly severe limitations - for the rest of their lives. I cannot emphasise enough that I could not care less when adults make these decisions for themselves but when children are involved I am furious.
We are supposed to support and acknowledge every whim, no matter how ridiculous or even dangerous it may be and put the feelings of mentally sick people above all else. Who the f@ck cares that a woman can never become a man and vice versa? You can take as many hormones as you like, and you can change the anatomy of your body surgically as well - and if that makes you happy, that is fine - but it will not change your gender - ever. If 100 years from now your bones are discovered, anthropologists will be able to determine your gender and not your feelings. Science is very clear here. You can feel whatever and however you like, but so can everyone else. Why should the feelings of some matter more than those of others?
Women in particular - I mentioned that I am slowly becoming a feminist - are ridiculed, their hard-won rights are destroyed and everything that makes women special and wonderful becomes obsolete. As a woman, it pains me that men, just because they dress up in women's clothes, put on make-up and a long hair wig, think they are better women. They even have the audacity to tell men - I'm talking about real men - who to date. And if a heterosexual man does not want to date a man dressed up as a woman he is called a transphobe. Since when does a man not have the right to choose whomever he wants to date? They even have the audacity to claim that they are menstruating - something most women would probably love to leave to men. Sorry, but when a man is bleeding from his penis, he has other things to worry about.
We and our children should no longer be allowed to go to carnivals or Halloween as cowboys, Indians, princesses, or anything else that could be seen as an appropriation of a culture we do not know and have not experienced - again, people’s feelings could get hurt. It's apparently perfectly fine though for men to dress up, pretend to be women, and presume to understand what it means to be a woman and that is not appropriation? Someone please explain that to me.
This is what I mean when I say that facts and science have become irrelevant. It's all about feelings... but whose feelings? Mine are definitely not taken into account.
The sad thing is, that more inclusion and more diversity are preached but the corset is tightened to a point that you can hardly breathe. Anyone who deviates from leftist propaganda even a little is called a transphobe, a right-wing extremist, a racist, or even a Nazi.
People are deluding and trivialising terms like Nazi, extremist, racist, etc., and these very serious allegations lose all meaning as they are thrown around without any thought of what that entails. I find this horrifying and disparaging to all that suffered from any of the above.
This careless use of these terms holds so many dangers and only serves to silence free-thinking people who care about facts and science. This has most certainly backfired, at least in my case.

I live in Bavaria and we have a state election here on 8. October 2023. I am curious to see whether the old parties like the CDU/CSU and the traffic light parties in the Bundestag will be punished. As I will be in England on election day, I have already made my mark by postal vote. It remains to be seen whether voting will actually make a difference. I have not believed in democracy in Germany, Europe, or the rest of the world for a long time. Nevertheless, I am voting, in the vague hope that my vote might make a difference after all, and I stand by it. I still have not lost my optimistic view of the world, even if it often doesn’t sound like it.
Feelings do not change reality no matter how much you wish they did.

Tanja - I hope that your vote turns the tide! Loved the photo and song. Johnny was clearly not in a good place when he recorded this and he sounds quite different. I really like the production. It is remarkable that somehow we are being pushed into fact free zones in society and wonder how it has happened? It is certainly not by chance and there is manipulation for purposes that we can't discern but seems to be linked to transhumanism. It does look like it is hard to resist and any questioning is clearly unacceptable to the fact checkers. It feels like we are at the crossroads.
