Hi, Tanja, I too wore a mask to grocery shop. Awful. Eventually the signs came off the store windows and I stopped wearing them (I used buffs, anyway, not those stupid duck masks or surgical masks) however, during this time, it was still rare to see a person without a mask and I got stared at, especially by children! I always always always wore my earbuds while shopping so I didn't have to listen to other people say nasty things and also to block out the PA systems that spewed propaganda. Meanwhile, my sister-in-law had multiple "fashion" masks in her purse so she could whip one out with a change of her outfit. I will not be bullied again.
Hello Jon, it is not always easy to not fall into despair with everything that goes on. But I have surrounded myself with good people, I do things I love, and the mountains and the the lake definitely help. I have deliberately chosen a good and positive attitude - that is challenging at times and I do my best to still see the good and beauty around me. Happy weekend ☀️
You manage to fit a lot into your posts Tanja and it is always helpful to hear what various German ministers and influencers are saying. I have found that here in Australia, once outside the big cities, there is a better chance of finding people who are prepared to question the overall narrative. Perhaps it is like that in your small town in Bavaria? It would be interesting to hear a bit more about your work as a coach and the broader issues that you are encountering. Thanks for your post which I appreciate each week and they always provide a fresh perspective. Hope that you have a great weekend.
Thank you so much, Reuben, for your kind words and continuing support. It means so much to me. I could probably write a book on my experiences as a coach, alas I am more for the short articles. I do tend to drift off topic but I will consider writing one or the other post about my work. Wishing you a fabulous weekend as well.

Hi Carla, I am so happy to hear you did not give in and refused to be bullied. Know that you are not alone.
Hi Tanja, very good if you can see all this happening and not fall into despair. You'll need the lake and those mountains to lift you up. Cheers, Jon.

Thanks Tanja, same to you.
