It is truly astonishing and above all incomprehensible how many institutions, hospitals, airlines, and public transport still make use of their so-called house rights or stick to senseless measures and harass people at all costs.
In the past years, we have seen that hospitalized people, as well as people in retirement and nursing homes, were not allowed to have visitors, and people had to die alone and in and of loneliness. We have seen that children in hospitals were not allowed to be visited at all or only by one person for a maximum of one hour. It is incomprehensible that these regulations still apply in many institutions in Germany. It is a crime that the mental health of physically ill people is systematically trampled on by these institutions that are supposed to help and heal people.
The measures were not proportionate then and certainly are not now. People have been and are being forcibly incapacitated and not allowed the freedom to decide whether they are willing to take a risk (which is minimal to nonexistent) to be in contact with others or not. How much longer is this outright nonsense going to go on? How much more collateral damage will be accepted?
Visiting patients in hospitals and nursing homes is an essential part of the healing of patients (that seem to have become inmates) - that is nothing new. In this day and age, one can only hope and pray that one does not find oneself in a situation where a loved one or even oneself has to go to a hospital. I find the thought alone terrifying these days. We still have a relatively good health care system in Germany and certainly, no one wants to go to the hospital, but I for one am now rightly afraid of it - it shouldn't ever be like that.
I wanted to visit a company the other day and was absolutely horrified when I saw the signs on the door:
ONLY TESTED, RECOVERED, OR VACCINATED PERSONS WITH APPROPRIATE PROOF ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER HERE!
I was so repulsed by this that I immediately turned around and left. I felt unwelcome, to say the least. These are things you don't forget.

I know for example, as my sister lives in Switzerland, that ALL measures have been lifted there. She tells me that occasionally she sees someone enter a store with a mask but it is the absolute exception. No masking in public transport, doctor’s offices, or hospitals are required. It is as of Covid had never existed in Switzerland. If you compare that to Germany and its hideous restrictions I just want to scream in frustration. We are still required to wear masks in all public transportation including airplanes (at least to and from Germany - no, Germany is not a welcoming country anymore). We need to mask up for any form of medical treatment including physiotherapy etc. It is even recommended to wear a mask at the hairdressers. Admittedly I always have my heyday when I can decline those “recommendations” - avoiding going anywhere where I am in any way restricted.
I do truly struggle to keep my composure when I still see people running around outside, alone in their cars, on a bike, or wherever in 30C (86F). I simply cannot bear this unpleasant sight anymore and would like to shake these people to make them wake up. It saddens me that people are still in panic (or they would not behave like this) and willingly take these restrictions as a given and shrug them off as a necessity, not realizing that we will ALWAYS have to live with illnesses, viruses, accidents and ultimately with death.
I am also disgusted when I go for a run or walk in a beautiful forest or by the lake and see and when I see this hazardous rubbish, the discarded masks lying around. Strangely enough, there is no outcry from the so-called environmentalists.
What all this has done to our society, to the people, is comparable to mass torture, which has been going on for over two years now. I see the change in people close to me, who have gone from being socially happy beings to social loners. I see many young people suffering from depression, turning more and more to alcohol or drugs to get through the day. It is time, it is high time, that people wake up and realize that it is not about a virus, it has never been about a virus and it is certainly not about protecting people.
This is where the conspiracy realist in me comes through again, seeing all the gloomy predictions that have already become a sad reality and knowing that it won't get better if we don't do something about it. We all have a voice and now is the time to use it!

That is exactly what it is. Induced schizophrenia as detailed in reports about torture in various countries, Chinese brainwashing and so on. Also very popular with various sects. The enforced social isolation is a big part of the success of this technique.
