OBSTINACY AND SHAME

No matter how much new evidence and studies emerge showing that we have been lied to, cheated, and deceived, the narrative of the last two years is still being frantically clung to by a vast majority.

No matter how many so-called conspiracy theories come true (and pretty much all of them have), the majority still runs with it without questioning or doubting what is happening before our eyes.

I keep trying to find ways to explain this behavior. The brutal psychological abuse we have been subjected to for years now has manifested itself in many to such an extent that deviating from the previous narrative is simply too horrible to live with for many.

What if we really have been lied to and deceived and this pandemic was basically no worse than seasonal influenza (what the WHO stated at one point)? What if we have let our family members die alone and lonely for no real reason? What if we have vaccinated our children with a drug whose long-term effects are in no way foreseeable and we have irrevocably damaged them instead of protecting them?

It would explain, at least in part, why so many do not want to, or cannot, turn away from that narrative. The thought and shame of having participated in such crimes against humanity are so unbearable that it is simply repressed - similar to abuse victims who repress their pain in order to no longer feel it.

Of course, there are also those who are so obedient to authority that they simply believe and accept everything those in power tell them. Not to be underestimated, of course, are those who are simply indifferent, who do not want to deal with these issues and live in their ideal world cocoon and with that become followers.

I am aware that many people cannot fathom that they have been so maliciously deceived for such a long period of time. The idea that people commit such terrible crimes out of pure greed for power and profit seems simply unthinkable as well as the fact that it is happening worldwide.

Personally, I still believe in the good in people, but I am not so naïve as to believe that the abyss in many people cannot be infinite.

I can only repeat that I am not a conspiracy theorist (but apparently a conspiracy realist) and I am also not a missionary. I do believe everyone should be allowed an opinion and have the freedom of speech - something that sadly has been strongly impaired in the past years. What I write is only one view and I am as always, open to respectful discussion.
