Even though I've always considered myself relatively awake, I've probably spent a long time half-asleep. My full awakening was definitely the moment COVID hit us. I have this terribly annoying habit of questioning things and wanting to understand them, apart from that, I am probably quite โnormal.โ
So, you can imagine how the last few years have been for me when the world seems completely turned upside down, where good is suddenly evil and vice versa. Nothing seems to make any sense, and values and morals have simply left the house.
I am not a missionary and will not become one. Nevertheless, I experience the same phenomenon again and again. When I have conversations with people - the ones I know well and the ones I have just met - often the topic touches politics or the past years, including vaccinations and the plandemic.
I do voice my opinions and I know I can sometimes get heated and emotional about it. I am an emotional person and when I see injustice or that something is wrong, it's almost impossible for me to keep my mouth shut. But I've also learned when it's better to just shut up - for full disclosure, it's still a work in progress but I am getting a little better.
The phenomenon I am referring to is the one of people closing their eyes to what is right in front of them. You have a conversation, and most people are very quickly overwhelmed - perhaps it is just me being too much - and shut down. The most used replies are: โThat's too terrible, I don't want to hear thatโ - fair enough - or, โI can't even imagine that, it's all nonsense. Our government would never allow that.โ
Even if you give sources where you can read everything that is happening and what is being planned, be it on the website of the WEF, the UN, or the WHO, many are and prefer to stay in denial, feeling more comfortable keeping their eyes tightly shut.
I can only speculate that people are still far too well off and only wake up when they are directly affected or until they realise that they are, in fact, already affected. Unfortunately, by then, it will probably be too late to turn the tide.
What seems to come with all of this is an unprecedented hypocrisy. So many are taking the moral high ground preaching diversity, equality, inclusion just like all the other buzzwords that seem to be fashionable at the moment. Funnily enough, it's usually the same people who aggressively attack anyone with a different point of view who are willing to engage in open and respectful discourse, shouting down anyone who doesn't follow the narrative and calling for censorship. Word creations such as misinformation and malinformation further contribute to the division of our society.
When conversations are no longer possible, it becomes dangerous in my eyes. We don't always have to agree with each other to be able to live together peacefully. But it seems to be getting more and more difficult. There is a lack of respect and tolerance on all sides and these values need to be reclaimed - perhaps initially on a small scale with family and friends.
But it is just as important to include facts in the dialogue again and leave feelings and emotions on the sidelines. Because the question everyone should ask themselves is: whose feelings are most relevant? In a democracy, it would be the feelings of the majority and not the minority - unless I have misunderstood the concept of democracy.

๐My Poem for you
Is by Alexander Pope (1688-1744)
Ode On Solitude
Happy the man, whose wish and care A few paternal acres bound, Content to breathe his native air, In his own ground. Whose herds with milk, whose fields with bread, Whose flocks supply him with attire, Whose trees in summer yield him shade, In winter fire. Blest, who can unconcernedly find Hours, days, and years slide soft away, In health of body, peace of mind, Quiet by day, Sound sleep by night; study and ease, Together mixed; sweet recreation; And innocence, which most does please, With meditation. Thus let me live, unseen, unknown; Thus unlamented let me die; Steal from the world, and not a stone Tell where I lie.

Yes. People are still asleep and not willing to wake up. I would send vital information to these sleepers, via videos, articles, essays, etc. A common response would be "this looks like spam and I'm not going to open it" or "I don't open YouTube videos" even though they did previously. Needless to say, these people no longer communicate with me. So be it. I often wonder how these people are doing. I heard one has stage 4 breast cancer...
I agree it is difficult to have conversations, but sometimes a comment or a question finds its way. Last week in my exercise class , the teacher commented on how many people are ill after getting the latest jabโฆ.I said best to not have it then..& there was a bit of interaction that followed. Apparently in the UK you have to pay to be jabbed if you are under 65, whereas those over get it free. What a great way to kill off your old people.
Great picture and music choice ๐๐ป
