In "To a Young Girl", William Butler Yeats (1865-1936) writes of a girl who broke his heart to please her mother, but he knows she still loves him. He says that even though he knows she loves him, she still did it. Sometimes we make vital decisions out of reason instead of following our heart and choosing to be happy.

More than another

And has forgot,

And glittered in her eyes.
